Sönmez Makina Otomotiv Elektronik San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. was founded in 1974 by İbrahim Sönmez. Our company has started its activities by producing spare parts and sub-industry products, especially for Otoyol A.Ş. In the following years, thanks to our accumulated knowledge and experience regarding the industry and the developments in the production LPG cylinders, our area of activities has also started to include this field.
Initially, our activities regarding production and filling facility lines for LPG cylinders, production of stocking facilities, Skid Autogas, and cylinder filling and maintenance systems were limited to the domestic arena, but thanks to external demand, our activities expanded to become international. Starting in 1999, two turn-key cylinder filling facilities, an LPG stocking facility, and a bulk sales facility were constructed, complete with their production and installation aspects, in Kazakhstan. Our production activities continue in our area of business in more than 25 countries.
With the production of cylinder factories, cylinder repair factories, and filling scales, the activities of our company in the field continue while diversifying.
While our current area of activities is in progress, our General Manager, Nevra Sönmez, aims to combine experience and innovation in both domestic and foreign areas with a youthful and dynamic business sense and solid worldview to expand our area of activities.
